Walk to the Wasmerseeli

A mountain path leads from Berggasthaus Wasenalp to the Wasmerseeli, a small mountain lake set in a hollow beneath the peaks. The walk is short enough for half a day and passes through alpine meadows where the flowers are at their peak in July. Those wanting more can continue on the Alpenpassenweg towards Rosswald and the Simplon Pass. The reward afterwards awaits on the terrace of the Berggasthaus. The area is so peaceful that you're more likely to hear marmots than people along the way.
