Skiing in the Aletsch Arena

A single ski pass opens up the whole Aletsch Arena: 104 kilometres of piste plus fifteen kilometres of ski routes, served by thirty-five lifts between 1,845 and 2,869 metres. The three base villages, Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp, are linked by lifts, so you can start the day in one village and finish in another. Of the pistes, 42 kilometres are blue, fifty red and twelve black. All three villages are car-free and reachable only by cable car. From Ried-Brig you're at Mörel in a good quarter of an hour.
