Gogwärgiweg, the goblin fairy-tale path

The Gogwärgiweg descends 6.5 kilometres from Fiescheralp to Fiesch and takes around two and a half hours, with over eleven hundred metres of descent. Along the way stand ten themed stations about the Gogwärgi, the goblins of local legend, keeping children walking without any need to negotiate. The path runs through forest and across alpine meadows. You ride up by gondola and walk down, which keeps the effort manageable. At the end you're simply back at the car.
