Roped glacier trek

From June to September, guided glacier treks run from Längfluh at 2,868 metres to Panorama Point at three thousand metres. You walk roped up with crampons across the Fee Glacier, past crevasses and ice formations, over three to four hours. Prices range from around CHF 190 to CHF 680, depending on group size. Equipment is provided and no experience is required, though reasonable fitness is. It's the safest way to see what a glacier looks like up close.
