Metro Alpin and the revolving restaurant

The Metro Alpin is the highest underground funicular in the world, tunnelling from Felskinn at three thousand metres straight through the mountain up to Mittelallalin at 3,500 metres. At the top, the world's highest revolving restaurant turns full circle once an hour, so the whole panorama drifts past while you eat. In 2026 the metro runs from 20 June to 31 October; in winter it forms part of the ski area. The whole journey from the village takes about forty minutes. Even non-skiers can simply ride up here.
