Summer skiing on the Theodul Glacier

On the Theodul Glacier in 2026, from 4 May to 31 October, up to 21 kilometres of pistes are open, Europe's highest and largest summer ski area. The pistes lie above three thousand metres, where the snow holds up even in July and August. In October there's a separate short season pass. Starting early matters, since the snow softens by midday. National ski teams train here over the summer months, so you share the piste with good company.
