Walking on the Brigerberg

Around Ried-Brig and Termen runs a network of walking paths that starts right from the chalet's front door. The Ried-Brig Vitaparcours measures 2.31 kilometres and takes about half an hour; the Erlebnispfad Berglandwirtschaft near Termen is 2.67 kilometres and takes an hour, explaining mountain farming along the way. In spring the meadows here are full of poppies. There are five playgrounds and four fire pits in the area, including the Feuerstelle Burgspitz on the Basweri, close to the valley station. For the first evening after arrival, this is just right.
