Mountain biking at Rosswald

The Rosswald Bike trail covers nine kilometres with 840 metres of climbing and is the area's home route. Those wanting more can ride the Saflisch Bike, almost thirty-five kilometres long, an official stage of the Valais Alpine Bike Route that crosses the Saflisch Pass. Both routes run along alpine roads and farm tracks rather than technical singletrack, so they're manageable on an ordinary mountain bike. The gondola takes bikes, making the climb optional. There's little shade along the way, so set off early.
