Snowshoe trail Fleschboden

A signposted snowshoe route of 3.73 kilometres with 304 metres of ascent, for which you should allow around one and a half to two hours. The route climbs from the mountain station to the Fleschboden and then crosses open snowfields with clear views of the mountains on the other side of the valley. The level is moderate: you don't need to be an experienced mountain walker, but a bit of fitness helps. Snowshoes can be hired in Ried-Brig and at the top. Along the way you meet almost no one, which is rather the point.
