Birkenlehrpfad and Eichhörnchenweg

Two themed trails open up the plateau's nature: the Birkenlehrpfad, about the birch trees that grow at this altitude, and the Eichhörnchenweg, about squirrels and forest life. Both are short, flat and signposted along the way. They're aimed at families but offer something for adults too. You can combine them into half a day's walking. Benches and picnic spots line the route.
