Gommerlauf

The Gommerlauf is the valley's big cross-country ski race and celebrates its fifty-fourth edition at the end of February 2027. The main event is a 42-kilometre ski marathon starting and finishing at the Nordic Centre in Geschinen, but there are also shorter classic and free-technique distances, a Schnupperlauf for beginners and a Mini-Gommerlauf for children. The whole valley turns out to watch. Even if you're not taking part, it's a good reason to head to the Goms that day.
