Skiing on the Lauchernalp

Forty kilometres of pistes according to the mountain railway itself, between 1,403 and 3,100 metres, served by a cable car, a gondola, two chairlifts, a ski lift and two magic carpets. Four of the twelve pistes are black, so this isn't an area aimed only at beginners. The highest point is the Hockenhorngrat, which keeps it snow-sure late into the season. From Wiler, a hundred-person cable car takes you up. The area is part of the Magic Pass.
