Skiing in Bellwald

The ski area lies between 1,560 and 2,560 metres and is served by two chairlifts and two drag lifts; the mountain railway itself claims over thirty-five kilometres of piste. It's a sunny, easy-to-read area aimed mainly at families, with the Snow & Bike School and Kids Hasenland from age four. The season runs from mid-December to the end of March. You park at the Fürgangen valley station and ride up in four minutes on the cable car built in 1956, since the village is car-free.
