Skiing at Belalp

Around forty-five kilometres of piste between 1,322 and 3,112 metres, served by ten or eleven lifts. The highest point is the Hohstock, where the slopes locally reach sixty per cent gradient and where freeriders gather. Lower down lie broad red runs with clear views of the Aletsch Glacier, something few ski areas offer. For children there's the Hexenland practice area with a carpet lift. You park at Blatten and ride up in four minutes on the eighty-person cable car.
