Lötschentaler Museum in Kippel
The museum in Kippel displays the work of the painter Albert Nyfeler, who captured everyday life in the valley during the first half of the twentieth century, alongside a collection of Tschäggättä masks and everyday objects. Admission costs CHF 6 for adults and CHF 1 for children. In summer it's open daily except Mondays, from two to six. It's small and can be done in an hour. A good place to understand why this valley stayed so isolated for so long.
