Village tour of Kippel and Blatten

A guide takes you past the church, the museum and the places where the valley's legends are set. The villages of Kippel, Wiler, Ferden and Blatten have largely preserved their traditional timber buildings, with barns raised on stone posts to keep out mice. Booking is required, as tours run by appointment only. It takes about an hour and a half. For anyone wanting to understand something of the region rather than just look at it, this is time well spent.
