Raron-Eischoll cable car

The cable car climbs in eight minutes from 645 metres at Raron to 1,217 metres at Eischoll, with two ten-person cabins and a capacity of sixty people per hour. A single ride cost CHF 6.40 for adults in the 2025/26 season. It runs to a year-round timetable, making it an alternative to the narrow mountain road. In summer, the sports line operates daily from ten to five, from late June to mid-August. Handy if you'd rather not tackle the hairpin bends yourself.
